Ok all you lurkers on this board, time to start speakin' up!

It's just a little over a week to Spring Diversity & there's just not enough chatter on here!

I'm Dawn from Tulsa and my husband Michael & I will be attending our first DW. We love Eureka and try to visit at least twice a year. We'll be at the Copa all day on Saturday and would love to meet anyone who visits this board.

Come on, ya'll let's hear some noise! If you'll be at the Copa, speak up!!!

Ok, maybe I'm stupid, but what exactly is diversity weekend? I won't be able to make it, but it sounds like fun. I guess I want to know so maybe I can plan a trip for it sometime. I love Eureka. I've been up a few times and everytime was better than the last.

I would agree with you Dawn, especially considering how many people are registered on this board.

This will be my first diversity weekend in Eureka. I was not feeling too well during the November one, my wife, Lee and Kelly, and our friend Blake, who performed in November all had a great time! At least that is what they told me!

We will be coming to DW will bells on...ok, not literally, but we are SO excited. We came down last April and again on the 'trial' DW in Sept.....both were a blast, but April was the best. We have talked two other couples to come down with us....so, when you see the girls from Kansas....holler at us!!!

:D Hi all !!!

I have been very busy lately, sorry it has taken me a while to respond.
I am gearing up, and getting ready for the big weekend. Today I will work on getting all of the info flyers to hand out at different sponsors businesses around town, so all of you guests will know whats happening, who, what, when , where, etc. There will also be a full page ad in the Lovely County Citizen, they're free, so don't forget to pick one up while in Eureka on Diversity. They are one of the sponsors for Diversity, and their paper is located in most locations all over town.

This is gonna be a FUN weekend ! EIGHT MORE DAYS TO GO !

This season, I have several more places to go to promote Eureka Diversity. (from the time I started this site, there has been a ton to do in a very short period of time to make sure everyone knew Diversity is still alive and well for the Spring Diversity)........for November Diversity, I plan on LOTS AND LOTS more people knowing about Eureka Pride celebrations, and Eureka Diversity all year long !

For those of you whom have never experienced Diversity weekends in Eureka........you are in for a real treat ! Be who you are.......or be who you want to be !!! It's all good ! :D :shock: 8)

Hi, Dawn I'm Kelly. I've been visiting and posting on the Front Porch for the last two years but I'm fairly quiet with my posting. My best friend and I will be in town for DW (my first one and 1st time at the Copa, my husband is a homebody even on vacation I can barely pry him from the cabins) for my birthday. I was hoping to run into some FPAs but was a little shy cause I've never properly introduduced myself and don't usually post except suggestions of what my husband and I like about ES. Will the FPAs be sharing a table Friday or Saturday night? or just on the get-togethr on the 1st? I just wanted to say hi and maybe we'll meet next weekend. Nice to officially meet one of The Girls. :D

PS Lita if you are still looking for clubs to advertise or spread the word to. Try the SoCo Club in Columbia MO. I'm sorry I don't have a phone number for them but I heard an ad on the radio for them for Drag Queen and King? shows.

Hi Kelly! I'm pretty sure that there'll be some FPA's at the Copa every night. Thursdays are usually our set meeting nights, but since it's DW and the Copa is the place to be this coming weekend, you can pretty much count on seeing us there all weekend. You'll love the Copa! It's the best club in town! Yes, I am a little prejudiced! My dear friend Lita does one helluva job to make this the place to be seen in Eureka.

I'm not actually one of the Tulsa Fun Girls, but I am good friends with one of them. This trip will be my first time meeting the other three.

I bet you and your friend will have a great time. Sometimes it's nice to leave the husband at home and just go party with your friends.

I'm a tall red head and my husband has shoulder length blonde hair. You can't miss us! See ya there!

HOpe to see you this weekend. If you're at Copa fri night for karoke, I'll be singing Harper Valley PTA.....(and no, Nashville won't be sending scouts out to recruit me anytime soon!!!!)) but I LOVE to sing and entertain.

married....you're going to LOVE DW. it is a blast. don't be shy...just ask Lita who the fpa's are and she will point them out. hope to meet you too....and everyone else posting on here.
