My girlfriend and I are coming to Eureka Springs in July and I was just looking for some tips on where to go and what to see.
Amber
Hi Amber, :D
As you can see by this website there are several GLBT friendly / owned businesses in Eureka Springs. There are also others waiting to be sponsors on this site. You will feel right at home here. I am in the process of moving and getting my new office set up......just got the computer set up a little bit ago at the new place. So as soon as I can get to it.......give me til about next wednesday.......and I will have a list of scheduled events going on here in town. (thank you Gerry from Garden of Dreams), and also new sponsors added. This whole moving thing put me behind a tad bit.
In the meantime, go to www.eurekasprings.com , then click onto calendar of events......their schedule of things going on should be up to date. (also, go to the Front Porch BBS while you are there)! Lots of friends from our Diversity weekends are chit chatting there also.
Thanks ! AND....Welcome to eurekapride ! :D

Hey Amber!!
Have you ever been to ES before? If not, you'll be in for a surprise. It is wonderful and the best place to relax, be yourself, and have a blast. What do you guys like to do? if you like shopping, there is PLENTY of that. Just walk up and down the streets. there are shows of different kinds around (haven't really been to any). If you like history--there is Abundant Memories (its been 5 years since i went there--not sure if its still there) There is the Passion Play, if you are religious at all.
I could go on and on......and i'm sure there are others that have tons more info than I do. Let us know what you like to do and we will try to give you some tips.
You have GOT to go to the COPA!!! (Copacabana Club)
everyone loves Lita's crablegs on Thursdays....and she has some really good entertainment there.
for lodging, there are several......Last time we were there, we stayed at Tradewinds. Kel and Lee are absolutely awesome and the rooms are great!!! I hear they have their pool open.....
sorry for rambling, but I could talk forever about ES!!! it is were my significant other and I had our 'wedding'--and we've been to 3 Diversity weekends (gotta come to one---it is the best weekend). We make a trip to ES at least once a year and have been coming twice a year lately.
hope i've helped a little.....let us know what you like to do and I'm sure you'll get tons of information.
