Press Release:
We’ve been hard at work creating an atmosphere of complete terror! Eureka Screams!TM presents, Raycliff Manor Victorian Haunt. This haunted attraction will feature 22 rooms of mind-blowing, heart pounding scares. Enter this Victorian themed haunt, where a mad genius once discovered the secret of extracting the fears from his victims as trophies for his collection of terror. Now those fears are trapped inside, waiting for those who enter. This attraction is not recommended for children under the age of 13, pregnant women, individuals with weak hearts, or wimps! This is a scary attraction with high shock factor, terrifying special effects, and illusions that are horrifyingly real! Raycliff Manor is being produced by Lee Ostergren and Kelly Allen, owners of Eureka Screams!TM and the TradeWinds in Eureka Springs. Tony Grat, of Phantasmagoria fame as well as many other Eureka Springs productions, is directing the show.
10 % of profits from this event will benefit the Lane House organization. Raycliff Manor will be located at the Carroll County Fairgrounds (Scaregrounds) at 104 CR 401, Berryville, AR and is scheduled to open its doors on Friday, September 24th at 7:00 pm. For more information go to www.eurekascreams.com or call the Raycliff Manor information line at (479) 253-7887.
Ok, I just have to add that I saw some of the props that will be in Raycliff Manor and they are SCARY!!!
I'm just glad that Lee was with Georgie and me when we went into their house or I would have had the bejezus scared out of me!!!!
Congrats to my TradeWinds boys! Can't wait to get scared in the dark! Just remember I don't want anyone I know touching me! LMAO
Dawn, we went over the plans with the company in California that is designing this haunt...all I can say is that I would be afraid to go through this! And I'm not easily scared. This is shaping up to be an incredible haunt and we're getting really excited. The you know what is being picked up on the weekend of the 20th, but keep it under your hat, it's a secret. When this hits Eureka Springs, or should I say Eureka Screams, the looks on peoples faces is going to be great!
 No problem, sweetie! Mummy's the word! LOL
By the way, our new business listing, www.eurekascreams.com, is currently under "Lodging" until a new category is added for "Attractions". So, if you're looking for more information on the haunt, look us up on this site under the "lodging" category in Sponsors. :D

getting really pumped to get back down there.

Unfortunately, we couldn't secure the location for another week. We'll actually be breaking the haunt down the week before Diversity weekend and then enjoying the weekend with everyone! We're busting our humps right now trying to run the inn and coordinate efforts on Raycliff Manor. We're going to need the rest this winter. We're looking forward to seeing you again!

:D Hi Lee and Kel !
I can't wait to see the "you know what" ! 8) People are gonna freak !
What a geat idea you two came up with ! I LOVE haunted houses ! The last one I went to, was when the local Fire Dept. had one across the street from the courthouse a few years back. I don't know why they quit, but there was always a line waiting to get in !
I can't wait ! (wish you two had time to help me decorate the Copa this year...........but I know how BUSY you two are ! ) I bet you could give me some great new ideas though !
Hugs !

lee & kel... can we look forward to seeing a haunted theme room the next time we stay at the Tradewinds? What a screem. Will see ya DW. Sure wish we could pop up sooner but we will be there in spirit...BOO!!!
A haunted themed room! I love the idea! Maybe the Victorian Magic Suite can have a darker edge to it. By the way, check out the TradeWinds ghost journal on our "Links" page. We haven't updated it in a while, but the happenings haven't ceased! Enjoy!

that is so cool Kel! I hadn't looked at the links before....and when I did, there was our 'experience'. I thought maybe my partner just missed seeing the keys, but when we discovered there were other 'guests' there....that explained it. When I went back to look for the keys, there was NO WAY she could've missed them...they were right on top.
Hopefully 'they' will come visit again in the cozy cottage in Nov. I'd love to 'meet' them/him/her again!!!
and I agree....maybe you should -theme- a room after them.
later,.....
darci
Hey Darci! We're looking forward to seeing you again! Who knows, the way the weather has been so unpredictable, we may even still have the pool open when you come! Talk to you soon!

Kel,
Checked out the ghost link. YIKES!!!
So could ya please get the neck breathing men ghosts to visit the French Quarter room for DW?
If it gets to spooky will there be a Voodoo Queen in the house for DW?
Do you think we might need to swing a few dead chickens over our heads and then dance about naked chanting...wow we did that at the Copa the Lumberyard ... maybe thats why no ghosts haunted us last year.

that would be great!! Sounds like there going to be a fpa/tsj cookout sometime, so if the weather is good, we might use that grill to smoke up some brisket!!
can't wait to see you guys in Nov!
Hey sparky...you can have the neck breathing man, but if you have more, send them to my room. would love to have someone 'visit'!! ;)
