I just want to say thank you Lita for everything you do!

Whether you're gay, straight, bi, transgender, whatever, we all appreciate your commitment to promoting Eureka Springs.

You're generosity is unmatched by anyone else in the town. Your sucessful efforts to fill up the local food bank each year, to promote diversity in a town that is for the most part accepting, running the best night spot in town and being a friend to everyone does NOT go unnoticed.

I'm taking the liberty to say that we all love you and we support any decisions you take to continue making Eurekapride the sucess that it has become since you purchased it.

Carry on, girlfriend, continue taking the high road and know that the ones that matter are standing behind you!

you have so many people that believe in you and all of your efforts, naysayers are obviously not understanding what you alone have brought to the town of Eureka for alot of people you provide a get away to relax and enjoy being in a friendly environment no what gender you may be and you do it beautifully! :wink: Thanks ya'll for the uplifting words. I got teary eyed reading your posts. It's so nice to hear positive feedback. For those of you who don't know what is going on, there is another "mostly politcal" Eureka Springs board whch I posted on, due to certain advertisers not doing what they were paid to do for eurekapride. I have a feeling I will be demanding the money paid to them to advertise, not only for eurekapride, but also for my other business, the Copa as well. I will gladly put the money elsewhere to promote Eureka Diversity.

Eureka is a wonderful community FULL of Diversity all year , every year. But I must admit, Eureka Springs is the Poster Child for totally screwed up politics and personal agendas. I prefer to NOT be a part of that, or have this website become a part of that.

With that said , and reading your uplifting posts, has got me back to "haul ass" mode. :D I have lots to do, and we leave for a Diversity Promo Trip tomorrow. If you are in Fayettville or Ft. Smith, we might see you there at one of the Diverse friendly establishments. We have to be back Wednesday for the Rocky Horror Picture Showing at the Copa......... :D :D :D Hopefully lots will show, as this will be a benefit for Eureka Kids. (bring your own props to throw).......nothing sticky though. :shock:

Time for me to start adding more info to eurekapride.

It's a shame that Lita is having to go thru this after paying for a service for which she "thought" she was going to get, only to have it "renigged" on by someone who thinks it would not benifit Eureka Springs. How WRONG could they be? Are they that misguided by what they read in thier religious handouts? It's brainwashing in my book and someone who is that "brainwashed" does not need to have this kind of decision making ability.

Lita, you do so much for the city of Eureka Spring and this SLAP IN THE FACE should not be tolerated! I hope you get your money back plus a little more for the time and effort you devote to this! You have my full support!!

My dearest Lita........................You know we are all behind you, The Copa and Eurekapride. You are truly as AWESOME as all have said. You are the embassador Eureka Springs needs the most and I will stand behind you and this site and my beloved Copa every step of the way 8)

I wish none of this was happening, but you are so very right about the pollitics of Eureka and, unfortunately, it has now hit you and your efforts. Your determination to continue what you do and do so well is admireable deyond words. The pollitics of this town often run people off or at least run them away from the fight they believed in. Not you :D We love you for that and so much more!

unfortunately, I still am in the dark......but it points to ES politics!!

Getting involved with the politics of a town 2 states away isn't high on my list of 'things to do', however, I am very happy someone is there fighting for the right of ES to remain the beautiful, diverse community it always has seemed to be!!

I have been vacationing there for several years and looking forward to several more....and it really is people like **LITA** that keep it great!!

Like I said before, LITA, YOU ROCK!!.....and this board is SO important, because there are always homophobic people around and we need to know where we can go and be welcome. I personally have NEVER had a bad experience in ES, but have heard of some.... and don't want to experience it in 'my little town'. So we will be visiting the sponsors of this board for being open to all people and hope others do the same!!
