Dear Lita, I must say I am very sad to know of the situation you had to put up with over the permit. And feel deep remorse that you will not continue with your business of the COPA. But I have too say you are a very self aware individual, who knows what she wants and basically takes the Bull by the Horns, so to speak. :D My dears Tracey and Mark ! No worries ! Everything happens for a reason. The Copa will not die. It will still be a HUGE part of Diversity weekends. "Things" are in the works. I can't really go into everything right now, but you will soon know. I promise. Have Faith, as things have a way of working out...........more than you know.

I am writing Ellen Degeneres every single day!!! My goal is to be on her show, and talk about Eureka Springs, and Eureka Diversity, and eurekapride.com.

Now, why don't all of you out there write her and tell her to get me on her show ? (my subject line says, "It's About What You Believe In".
This would be NATIONAL publicity for our town! All things are possible, and there is power in numbers. Don't know if it will work, but I won't give up.

I would love nothing more than to have an ad for eurekapride.com in EVERY SINGLE GLBT magazine and newspaper in the country. Down side of that is......not enough money. I spent 2,000.00 in one day on two magazine ads for eurekapride. I would LOVE any advice or ideas for promoting Eurekapride and Diversity. It is located on many websites, which myself and other sponsors (including yourselves) have helped with. Ya'll are smart businessmen, and I trust whatever input you have to offer.

I have said many times, it's not just a matter of putting your name on a website, a business also has to "work it". A website won't do all of the work for you. So, anyone with any ideas, email me, go for it, get the word out. This site has done EXTREMELY WELL for being so new. Thanks to sponsors like you and Mark, and others, word is getting out about Eureka Springs. GLBT friendly ALL year long !

I have lots of ideas for next Spring.......I will be asking for ya'lls opinion.

Ok Lita i'm on the band wagon. I just sent an email to the Ellen Degeneres show. HOpe it helps get you on her show. Just watching her on the Today show. As you know I will do what ever you need done just give me a holler.

Thank you Tracey and Mark ! The Dallas Observer is great to put Eurekapride in. Also, honey, it's not MY money on the advertising ......it's yours. The sponsors on this site are who pays for those ads. Thats what its all about........working together, making it work for everyone.

All is looking great for the Copa ! Also, I think it's pretty safe to say now, its just a matter of the paper work being final. I will still be there as an employee, nothing will change........except for the owners. The keys will be handed to them January 1st. Lots of rumors are flying, so I just wanted to let everyone know, no worries. Diversity will still remain a HUGE part of the Copa ! Be who you are or be who you want to be !
(now I get to be outta the kitchen and out there having fun with everyone) !!!!! Well, except for thursday, I told them I would still cook the crab legs ! lol !

My main focus after January 1st.......making eurekapride.com and Eureka Springs Diversity known NATIONWIDE ! Git-r-done ! :D :D :D

Lita-It is wonderful to see that you will still be at the Copa, but I hate that you are selling, but I do understand your reasoning behind your decision. Lisa and I can't wait to get there in Novemeber and it will be here before we know it. We are thoroughly enjoying our new house; it is just amazing being a homeowner, except for the big payments. Well, I guess that is about it for now. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

So glad to hear you are enjoying your new house ! I bought property years ago to build a house on......but it seems the money is never there to do it. The upside to renting every month is if anything breaks, the landlord is responsible for fixing it. The downside is , it's basically like throwing money out the window every month and not paying to gain an investment for the future. I keep hoping "someday" I will be able to call a house my own. I know how excited you must feel. I am very happy for you two !

For now, my escape is the lake, at my parents house. I go there usually every week, and they call the extra bedroom "Lita's room" ...lol.
I sit at their dining table and just stare at the lake and "think".
I love to cook in my moms kitchen, so when I am there, I always cook "something". I just can't seem to get out of this mode of cooking, after doing it at the Copa for so long. My dad says he cooks for stress release.........damn, I must have some stress built up ! lol ! :shock:

I am very happy for you both ! Your hard work has paid off !
