:D Hi all !
Frankie and I got into Ok. City about 4:30 on tuesday. We got the pefect rooms we wanted at the Habana Inn (right by the pool)... :shock:
We got our posters to the restaurant and other clubs in the vicinity that evening. We talked to several people who had been to last Spring Diversity and are wanting to come to the Fall Diversity as well !
We went to the Copa at the Habana Inn on Tuesday night, and saw people who remembered us from last springs road trip. Amazing !
Wednesday we drove around a while, and went to another gay bar and knew the bartender there. There was also a couple sitting at the bar who were leaving to come to Eureka today, to go to Chelseas ! They said they would be in the Copacabana in Eureka tonight :D .
AND, they would be here Diversity weekend. We were passing out cards left and right, and this same couple took a few of our posters to hang at other GLBT bars they were going to. Everyone is so friendly there.
That evening, I ate some chicken that didn't agree with me.......so wednesday night I ended up staying in my room, and not getting to go play. Frankie took over the job and got more posters and cards out......THANKS FRANKIE !
My next task is to call the OGRA President, and make sure he gets the news out to the members !
We got back yesterday, and I had enough time to run home and then back to work to put the crab leg pots on ! WHEW ! Backt ow work I went ! (I was a whooped pup last night) .
Thanks Oklahoma City and the Habana Inn.........we are already planning on when we can go back ! See ya on Diversity in Eureka !
