Hey, My mom was chit chatting on here, and I felt the need to tell you all about my completely awesome t-shirt. I came up with the idea becaue I was angered by how many students at my school were ignorant about the gay community. So, I made a gay pride t-shirt that simply said "Be You" and below, I made the symbols of a man and a woman; a man and a man; and a woman and a woman. :-) Was it a good idea?

Franceen that is way KEWL!!!
Kids are only ignorant because of what they learn from home, church and community. Some are just young insecure and are trying to fit in to what society deems normal. When they move out and about the world and have a little more exposure to T-shirt and such ...maybe some will GROW UP!
WOW! Times are a lot different then when I was a pup. I don't recall having anyone as special as you at my school.
Like Katie said be careful there is also a lot of ignorant MEAN kids too.
Are you coming to DW in ES?

my mom is Franceen, she was asking about the Meet N Greet yesterday. I'm not going because my mom and her girlfriend and going. One of my teachers liked it a lot, but I knew he would because me and him see eye to eye on everything, whether it be politics, religion, and everything else. Some of the kids looked at me weird, but I didn't care, I'm used to it already. No one really said anything because I think they were 'scared' to.

Good for you darlin! But, yes, do be careful! Some people CAN be mean, but it is a breath of fresh air when I see young people standing up for what they believe in! Sometimes it is a hard road, but to live your life with a "to thine own self be true" attitude......well, let's just say it sounds like you're ahead of the game!

I think it's great!

Be proud of your mom & who she is and of yourself, too.

I found a great shirt on E-Bay that I'll be wearing on Saturday.

Looking forward to meeting your mom. Will she be wearing the shirt?

I would sell them, but I didn't know how many people would buy a t-shirt made with sharpies and such :-) I like sticking up for what I believe in, because I hate hearing 'ill-informed' people talk about what they don't know about. do you know if any one would buy them? I don't think she is wearing it, oh well.
