Give me a few days to reconnect the neurons that are so cloudy floating in the alcohol that replaced my blood this weekend. Come on liver, do your thing. Now what was I saying...oh never mind.

a few days? Sparky will need a week?

Called the folks that shipped the lighted boas and was told there is an on and off switch. After you pull the tab you have to push the switch????????. I never found a switch  . The batteries might be dead.

What's this about Hermit and Cyber being lovers? Is Hermit trying to break Cyber and Sparky up?

Alana was the only person who introduced herself to us, so we were a little disappointed to not get to meet everyone.

This Diversity Weekend was AWESOME! Lee and I had so much fun at the Festival! I wish I could remember the entire time though. We really enjoyed visiting with everyone that visited with us over the weekend, either here at the TadeWinds or at the Festival. What a great big group of friends we've made since moving here. I would try to list everyone, but I'm afraid I'd forget someone. We are soooo blessed by all the friendships :!:

Lita, you have once again outdone yourself!!! :D We really appreciate everything you do for Diversity Weekend ... and for Eureka Springs year round! We're all lucky to have you here! I hope you were able to cover all the expenses you've been charging on plastic to make this festival happen. I think people would be shocked if they knew how far you put your neck out financially on this one.

Nick and Renate, we're so sorry we couldn't make it to your meet and greet. You know how tied you are to an inn on an event weekend. Lee and I love you guys more than you know and we really appreciate how much you've supported us and our business since we arrived. We sure can't wait until we can take a vacation and stay at Sherwood Court! We want to stay in the Log Cabin with Jacuzzi Room! Have your gardens started blooming yet? Let us know; we can't wait to come see your award winning gardens again :!:

Dawn... what can I say Girlfriend??? You are da bomb! You should be paid by the city for all the promoting you do for Eureka Springs! I'm still laughing about the gentleman who came into the office looking for a place for the Summer who said to Sparky, "Is that Tulsa Dawn?!" Too funny. You are infamous.

To the individual/s who got sick all over the bed, don't worry, I won't name you. Lee and I just wanted to say, don't feel bad, we've both been there and done that. Everything came clean... no worries. We hope you're feeling better and we hope you had as much fun as we did this weekend.

Alana you BAD WOLF!!! Why did you not drag guest around and introduce him/her to all of us?

Next time we need a MC to find out where folks have traveled from. Who has been partnered the longest, the shortest. Who is LOOOOOOOOKING

Gosh guest you mean you didn't meet Darcie. Why she handed out over 50 strands of beads to anyone that would show her their BOOBIES  Next time just bring beads and you will meet a lot of new.... hmmmm.... faces :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Sorry, I forgot to login, but Guest was me. Don't get me wrong, we had fun, but with this being our first DW, I guess we were a little shy. We seemed to miss most of the fun (either too late or too early). Heard someone say Uncly Jolene, and of course Lita, but that and Alana are the only faces I matched with names. Next time I have a name tag or something. Still had a good time and we're looking forward to the next.

:D Angie, I know what you mean about being shy. I have been to 2DW and to Eureka Springs a few other times. I did introduce myself to a few people, but still felt a little nervous. That's just the way I am and the way I always will be. Once you get me going though, I don't shut up. I didn't make it to the Meet and Greet until late, so I don't think I was able to meet you there, but Lisa and I were at the festival. I like Sparky's idea about a receiving line, but I guess that was what the Meet and Greet was for. So Sparky or anyone else who is interested in getting this started, I suppose I will start. Lisa and I have been together 3 years this July & September. Long story behind that one.

Angie, I'm so sorry we didn't get to meet. If you saw the girl with the black Barbie T-shirt, you saw me. I did a lot of running around at the festival, but if I had known you were there, I sure would have wanted to meet you!

There's always next DW!

Did you have fun? That's the really important thing!

If you pitch in and force people to let you help out you meet more folks. Just ask Lisa and I we met so many people we must get together just to sort the names out. Especially when you throw in the chat room names. We had a great time and are glad we had the opportunity to help out with the decorations at the outdoor party.

That's kind of how these things work......there are tons of people around and you only really get a chance to meet a handful of them. Then half of the ones you do meet you end up only getting an introduction and a few lines in and you're off to the next group of people!!! At least that's how it seems to have been with me! It takes a few times before you actually get to know everyone!

Although, I've been known to just start hugging people and asking "so, who the hell are you?" LOL I think that's how I met Alana this time! (notice I say "think"? i think i was just on cloud 9 all weekend.....or it was those yummy RenateRitas  ) But, I'll be damned if I can remember everyone this time! Yeah, you could say I'm coming out of my shell just a little bit! LOL I figure the older ya get the less time there is to be shy! Can't wait to hug some more strangers next time and turn them into friends..........Angie, get in line!!!!!
