Home safe and sound....

I just wanted to post to say that we finally made it home around 7pm last night...and we were tired. I'm not sure if mom will have time to post today because sometimes those government jobs make you work!! :lol:

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that welcomed me and was so nice. I really did enjoy myself and am planning on coming in November again.

I'll let mom give a full trip report, but I just wanted to say that I do have the depression of leaving as well and unfortunatly have to get back to the real world of work and school. I even have a test today!! AAAHHHH!!! :shock:

Hey Leslie.... It was really great to meet you and your mom. Don't you just hate having to come back to real responsibilities??? We sure do. Being a nurse I had to go back to work last night and make sure everyone was taking there own medicine.....I would hate to see my Alzsheimer and Dementia patients loose and on the streets of Hot Springs!!! Anyway, it was great meeting you and look forward to the next time.

Your hamburger cookies were a huge hit. Never seen anything like it,
and they were so good, too! Thanks for bringing them and also my tulips and the azalea. I will plant them in a very special place, just like we talked about.

Oh, it's so hard to get back into the swing of things after such a fantastic
weekend. At least we can take comfort in being depressed together.

Have no fear Renate...mom and I will be back in June. Just 76 days from now!! Unfortunatly I don't think my friend will be maiking it. She got a new job and doesn't think she can get the time off. But I will make her try. I can't wait to make Greek food and Boobie cake with you. It sounds like fun!!
