Thank you all so much for being here for Diversity ! I was a sap ......I was a cry baby by the end of the evening on saturday.....I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END ! (alcohol added to that, made me even more emotional).... :oops:
What a wonderful time getting to see everyone again ! It is to me, a family reunion each time. This one was REALLY special. When I had the Copa, the last four years I always had to work and be busy. Before that, I always was DJing somewhere.......SO, THIS TIME.....I got to party with everyone ! :D :D :D
This first Outdoor Festival was a learning experience. :shock: I guess that is why they are called the "1st". :wink: THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of my helpers ! I couldn't have done it without you ! I know my screwed up knee would have never been able to handle putting up all of the flags and banners, lights, skirting, and everything else. THANK YOU to Theresa and Lisa for picking up trash, taking down flags and banners, and already having the lights down by the time I got at C & J the next day. SO MANY OF YOU HELPED ME ! I love you all, and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart !
Also, THANK YOU to C & J Sports for allowing me to use their property for our 1st Outdoor Festival ! I know they worked their tails off for a month getting the site ready. It looked beautiful ! For you outdoor lovers, don't forget to stop by and see what all they have to offer, when coming to Eureka, even if it's not on Diversity weekend, and tell you're nature loving friends about them. They were a great help with all of this, and we couldn't have got it off the ground without them.
To all of the sponsors.......THANK YOU. :D :D :D Without your support of Diversity, I think the town would have been a pretty dull place this past weekend. Instead.....IT CAME ALIVE with wonderful Diversity, and HUNDREDS of folks from all over the place ! I have heard so many positive things !!! :D 8) :D
THANK YOU ....to DJ Tic, Robin, Kevin, Katie and Jeannie, for working hard on the stage and providing us with music and fun ! (sucking so much juice is a lot of work huh )? lol ! IT'S ALLLLLLLLL GOOD ! (I know I sucked a lot of juice......... :shock: :shock: :shock: , Colorado Bulldogs, Wine, Schnnaps, and some I can't remember).......LOVE YA'LL !!!
