The Drag Kings are KICKIN' :!: Whadda show :!: I missed all of the queens 'cept Lucy but A.K. and Brock kept me most entertained and i will look forward to more in Nov. It was great entertainment "and tasty too!" :D

The Drag King show was so good I wanted to put my two cents in from my trip report over here too! Here it is...............

Then, I had the awesome pleasure of getting to help out behind the scenes for the Drag Show! WOW! What an experience! I would do it again in a heartbeat! I had the privilege of helping in the dressing room of the two hottest new stars around……….the Drag Kings……..A.K. West and Brock Hard!!!!!! Did you hear it sizzling out there? I think they singed that wooden stage with all that heat!!!

It was amazing to watch the transformation! You two were the BEST!!!! Although Mr. West had a bit of the nerves, once he was out there he performed like the pro that he is……..the energy that was out there during his performances was electric! And I don’t think anyone would have known that it was Brock’s first performance ever!!! He was out there struttin his stuff and causing a stir with the ladies! Yes, the tensions were high, but these two stars pulled off quite a show! And I believe that it was the talk of the festival……..and outside of the festival! We stopped by at Local Flavor later that evening and we were out on the balcony. A group of folks were walking and stopped right underneath us and then I heard it……….”Brock Hard”!!!!! Oh, what was this, I thought?!?!? I wish I could have heard all that was said, but I got the general impression that they were thrilled with the show……..I heard the words “Brock Hard”, “Drag Kings”, “Oh yeah”, “riot” along with lots of laughing and smiles………y’all were a HIT and I sure hope that you will consider doing it again (and letting me help)!!!!

Great report WaterFairie. So you helped out with the transformation even. It was excellent. AK and Brock have it down for sure. Even down to the details. Loved that mustache and goatee. AK is a fantastic singer and i was glad to get to hear him sing. I didn't know that they were going to do more than one number so that was a neat surprize for me. Can't wait to see what's new in November.
