If you jump over to the gallery and look for the album "Memoirs of an incredible weekend" you will find Pics of the force behind Eureka Kids Barbara and her partner Chris.

Sparky offered to buy a ticket for Barb to do with as she pleases if Chris would buzz his head (he has almost no hair on top and a scrawny pony tail) She responded with no commitment on the Buzz but has several kids that want to go so bad but can not afford a ticket.

There is one ticket waiting for Barb to give to one of her Kids 8)

I hope she and anyone else can break Chris DOWN and convince him what looks good(queer eye for the straight ES guy) ... who ever gets this ticket should get to BUZZ Chis's head.

I got a new update on this!

Cris has said that he will get a new buzz cut IF we can sell some more tickets. If you can help out and give to a worthy cause and at the same time, donate a ticket to one of the Eureka Kids themselves who can't afford to go, please PM me or Sparky for the website to purchase tickets.

If we can buy up a total of 10 tickets, we can give Cris a great new look and send a special kid to a retro concert they will never forget!

There are still some great seats available for Jefferson Starship. Barb has a very special Mother and Daughter from our pride board that would LUV this concert and she would love to get donated tickets for them. The two she has in mind would normally have their tickets in hand by now but are still rebounding from unexpected DW expenses so this would be a great treat, a wonderful thank you, an awesome cause and a great CONCERT. All at a bargain price. I bet if you call the Aud 1-888-855-7823 and ask for Janet she would let you put 1/2 a ticket on a Credit Card pending someone calling in to pay for the other half. Tickets are $44.00.

Concert over. Thank you to the seven people that donated tickets for the kids. In all including those donated tickets about 140 tickets were sold for the show.
We wound up about 7000 in the hole.
Everyone is going to get piad ASAP. Of that I can promise.
Of the 140 tickets about 15 were local teens. 25 were local adults.
The rest were from out of town and five of the out of town were our beloved Eureka Pride and Geekfest donors.

If someone could copy and paste my thank you post from geekfest I would appreciate it.

I'm home, I have to go back and finsih cleaning at 0800.
We sold a total of about 140 tickets. We are in the hole abotu 7,000.00

The show was awesome! Diana brought KK on stage and carried her around singing volunteers with her. KK had maracas. It made me cry and laugh.

Paul was great with our kids. He and the whole band made Our kids feel good about themselves.

The show rocked! Im sorry for everyoen I missed in this long winded thatnk you. I really so much appreciate what you have doen to help us. I just cant think straight enough right now to get everyones name in.
