View Full Version : Going to Raycliffe Manor tonight!
Me and two of my Ya Ya's are heading up there this evening. Gonna stop at the Mexican restaurant next door first and get some liquid courage!
Man, was that fun! Pretty creepy and scary, too!
Me and the girls went to get our tickets first. The security guys told us that there was a 2 hour wait to get in and that was at 8 PM. We opted to shell out the extra $7 and get the VIP tickets so that we didn't have to wait in line. At that time the line was still within the entrance of the building.
We went to Acumbaro and had excellent margaritas and the food was really good, too.
By the time we got back to the haunt, it was about 9. The line stretched down the side of the building and across the parking lot. We got out our VIP passes and went to the front of the line. We only waited about 5 minutes and walked right in.
We did lots of nervous laughing and lots of screaming! The creepiest part was Kel catching up with us in the middle of it and shouting my name over and over in his scariest voice. Hope I don't hear it tonight in my sleep!
With our VIP pass, we also got cute little neon green ghost pins that lit up and orange and black Mardi Gras beads.
Ya'll need to get yourselves over there!
Glad you had a good time Dawn! Sorry I couldn't visit longer but I had to get back to raising the Tinkle Tally :!:  It was good to see you, even if it was a brief visit.

Darling, you rocked! Sorry I tried to pull you out of character!
We will have plenty of time to chat in 11 days!

Thanks Sparky!
I had my camera, but didn't take it in with me. I'm glad I didn't! I'm sure I would have dropped it or something!
