How does one go about saying 'Hello' to everyone. I guess by keeping it simple -- 'Hello everyone.'
Moving on, my name is Vanessa Glenne and most likely you have not heard the buzz and if you had heard any news your response would have been--'Who's that?' Well, anyway, I am transgendered and currently living in the Pacific Northwest on the Washington Coast. I have know for quite some time that I would be moving, but I could not figure out where. I am someone who moves and I have lived in Minneapolis, Dallas, Charlotte as well as my hometown of Spokane.
And then I connected with one of the citizens of Eureka Springs and . . . Well, first let me say that I won't say who so she won't be held accountable once I arrive in Eureka Springs and people get to know me and start looking for the responsible party.
Back to where I was, everything seems right about moving to Eureka Springs. I am fifty-three and ready to stop being 'someone that moves' and settle down. I don't thing the big cities are for me but I have been concened that a small town would be to Victorian in their attitudes. (Somewhere I read Eureka Springs is only cosmetically Victorian.) My biggest fear about a small town is that it would quickly become boring and mundane and with four diversity events every year and a year round attitude of freindliness to all, I suspect that boring and mundane are not terms used to describe Eureka Springs.
So anyway hope to be headed your direction, hopefully in time for Fall Diversity. Look forward to meeting everyone (everyone?). Almost everyone. Everyone seems like too much work.
Sincerely
Vanessa Glenne
