with gas prices so high and the temperatures rising this SUMMER
Eureka will be a great place for a
Diversity Meltdown !!!

Getting a lot of feedback on who is going.
This will be a NEW crowd. Since this is our FIRST SUMMER
we may have 300 or we may have 3,0000!
I am hearing from a lot of VIRGIN'S that have never been to Eureka.

We are arriving Friday afternoon and the Tradewinds Lobby A GREAT GATHERING PLACE or will we be out back at the pool?
Friday night;
dinner at the Bavarian (have missed this place 4 diversity's in a row and I want to dine here)

'Princess' Welcome mixer 7-9:00 pm at the Caribe. See who all made it to town. Diversity Pride and Eureka Pride hope to have a T-Shirt available!

9:00 pm till ? check out the new places... Diversity Pride has at the 'Collide' Dance in Eureka Live. I am sure Ermilio Paul will be there making his selection from the many young hot & hard bodies that are sure to pack the places. Must stop by the Pied Piper and Cat House Lounge where you can chat with out the deafening sounds of the Dance Beat. Across the street the TIKI should be getting ready to take off!! With their great early-bird drink specials. By arriving late I hope to feel the warmth of a y touchy feeley crowd. Sexual Energy will be on HIGH with their midnight 'Sneak Peak' show. I plan to catch the Saturday Night Encore show so up the Hill to the Lumber Yard to cool down from the HOT FLAMES of the TIKI and hang with the gayest straight Man we know, DJ Tic! It's Karaoke at the Lumberyard and the friendly crowd mix will send me back our room for a night of sweet dreams.

This summer we have chosen the 3 bears cottage at the Tradewinds! Normally called the 'French Quarter' This spacious room features 3 full-sized beds and so Roger, Dawn and Sparky will each have their own bed
Saturday around 9:00 a Diversity Breakfast at the Smokehouse Cafe. Check on how Heidi is doing and enjoy listening to 'Name that Tune' with Sandy.

Shopping...SO MANY GREAT PLACES! The Silent Auction!I bet the Yards and Yards of Yards sales will have been hit hard by the early risers. MUST find Steve Beachham's yard sale! The downtown shops to see whats new at Zarks and the Spring Street Gallery. Maybe pick up a birthday gift for a special birthday in September.

by noon it's time for the cool waters of the Tradewinds pool. Maybe Dawn and I will Cruise over to the 3 Diversity Pride Pool Party's as well...I better pick up some balls to throw around(BEACH BALLZ) or pink flamingos like last year. I best have some goodies to give away! Must not forget that BOOZE BROTHERS is the OFFICIAL Diversity Party Store for all your Adult Beverages!

Late Saturday afternoon the Air-conditioning at the Lumberyard with their ICED cold beer and the Robbie Walker Drag King & Queen Show! A.K West

Saturday Eats hmmmm wonder if Ermillios will be swamped or maybe a Lumberyard Burger lots of good places.

Saturday Night 'Eureka Heat' at the Auditorium. I have tickets for Jamie & Delana, Dawn & Guest and Cyber & June and two more ??? so if you Kan't make it let me know and I will re-gift your tickets.

The Saturday Night 'EUREKA HEAT' will just be the warm up to the many great dance parties. The 'Golden Oldies' at Caribe will have all the classic beats and some live entertainers making a great starting point and must check out the Lumberyard on our way to see the Guy & Gal Go-Go Dance Contest by Diversity Pride at the 'Collide' Dance at Eureka Live. A swing through town to see who, what and where is out and The Encore Show at the Tiki followed by some great THUMP-A-THUMPA lets Boogie. Lets Rock, lets DANCE. Maybe an after hours Breakfast...MUST save room for Diversity Breakfast at The Smokehouse Cafe and more 'Name that Tune' with Sandy on Sunday Morning.

SUNDAY sunday SUNDAY the Sunday Market, Diversity Breakfast at the Smokehouse Cafe, The Bears Contest with Comedian Bobaloo a possible Lumberyard Benefit show for the NWARGLBT & GLO and the big event TOPPER the Lucky 13 Outdoor Cinema Movie Pillow Talk with the Doris Day & Rock Hudson LOOK-A-LIKE Costume contest and the Live Music by the Betty's and and and THE GIANT COMMUNITY PILLOW FIGHT!

There is still a lot of room at the Sherwood for Summer DW virgins!

Of course it's not a requirement.
Experienced in the sack, loose as can be, out of the closet, flamin, and curious about it folks are also welcome.

Oh I almost forgot!

The dawg likes to get up early

and since the Princess requires MIRROR TIME

and the BOYZ(Kel & Lee) Do not have the Lobby open till around 9ish

I always slip off to the Forest... the smell of the flowers...the birds...so peacefull and a great place in the morning to sip a cup of Java and visit with the other guests and swap Eureka stories.

You know we love to take care of the early morning stray pup during DW. Keep his food and coffee bowl full.
It's a tradition and we wouldn't have it any other way Sparky!

The morning coffee social hour is my favorite during DW!

Wow Sparky you have a full list. I'm scared to start making ours yet because it will be packed too. But maybe it's time to:

Drive up Friday after work arive about sixish and check in with Renate. Next head over to the Princess Mixer to make some new friends. The next stop is the Lumberyard for grooving with DJ Tic. Possibly make it to Mocha's show that night at midnight. If we do make it to Mocha's, head back to the room and pass out or back to the Lumberyard to party. The end result of the night...fall peacefully to sleep at the Bavarian Maiden's.

Saturday morning get up to actually enjoy a Eureka morning. Possibly Name that Tune Sandy. Massages at 9:30 with new sponsor Focus. Possibly a trip to Quigley's Castle since we've never been. That evening head to the Lumberyard for the drag show with AK and Robbie Walker. Go watch the Eureka Heat show. Go back to the Lumberyard for some more partying.

Sunday morning brunch at a historic sight in town that we told had a good affordable breakfast. Possibly a trip downtown, or if we beg enough, some lounging at the Tradewinds pool. Head to the fundraiser event, pillow fight, and movie. Monday, relax and take our time enjoying our last day of Eureka before realty sets in and we head back home.

Lots of possibly's just because we never know how we'll run on time wise. Got to have time to slow down, but got to have fun too. Just so grateful the Bavarian Maiden found us an affordable spot in the Forest to rest our heads.
