Thank you, Sparky!!

I won't arrive until sometime around 4 or 5 Friday, so this little "preview" you have posted gives me a chance to check things out before I get there!

Looks like there are lots of fun things going on.

Now I have to figure out how to be in multiple places at one time.

Wow,
Thanks for offering this up!
While denying allegations of being A.R. about maximizing her travel experience - This reporter breathes a sigh of relief to see printed material
on DW. 8)
I am soo excited to be attending my first DW!
My safari pith helmet is already packed ( TWinds , Safari Room ).
So, are the pool parties and such open to all DW attendees, or by invitation? If held @ a hotel must you be a guest @ to attend?

Kathy,

The pool parties that Diversity Pride is producing are open to the public for a fee. 8)

The Tradewinds has a very intamite pool for their guest and their friends and my favorite part about the Tradewinds pool is the pool lighting does not function so those midnight dips prevent anyone from seeing what you
may or may not have on or all that extra poundage

If you have not booked a room at the Tradewinds you best pal up with someone who has

Hi Sparky,
I'm Booked, WooHoo!
All ready to enjoy a safari themed weekend @ Lee and Kel's.
Also, I believe I'll be printing a copy of the guide. *Whew*
A pool without lights is JUST what I need. :D

And there should be copies at all my shops (I BETTER get a bunch!!)
& most of the shops around town. Sparky, any idea when we will get our copies??

BTW, I just got in 2 NEW DESIGNS for my shop------when Angela & Lisa stopped by the second time for a last tee-shirt before leaving, they got to meet my boss* then said their goodbyes & left. I WISH THEY HAD STAYED 2 MORE MINUTES!!!!!! He was bringing in my new designs & they could have been the first to see/get them!!!! I'm taking in my digital camera tomorrow & trying to get a picture of them to post here.

Both are in small, delicate rhinestones, in rainbow colors:

PRIDE is the first one & the second one is a beautiful rainbow! THEY'RE GORGEOUS!!!! I'm going to "print" them on both pink & deep purple tees, but you'll also be able to ask for any other color you want; it only tales 10 seconds to do.
(Sorry, Sparky, he still won't get that print I showed you & Dawn last year------"the other white meat" one...???) 8)

*....I LOVE to introduce my boss to y'all when you're in; he's very much "into" the DW times, but thinks it's a bit "silly" for a t-shirt shop to "waste" money to advertise, 'cause "everyone comes into a t-shirt shop to buy anyway".............
So early this year I started my campaign to get him to advertise with y'all, with the goal being as a sponsor. I finally got him to do a $25 ad in the booklet for Spring DW & after that weekend, I showed him the HUGE difference from last year. Then I started in on him for Aug., by reminding him that an awful lot of our Pride people come several times a year that are NOT special weekends & they keep the guide handy for which shops are family friendly. Then I wrote the check for the Aug. DW & had him reimburse me... He just laughed at my "ploy" & forked over.

Since Spring DW, I have introduced him to at least 20 of the family on plain old regular days or mentioned that so & so was in earlier, etc., etc. He's beginning to understand that even t-shirts can use a boost...... 8) :D So if y'all don't mind it, if I introduce you to my boss, just shake his hand & say howdy!!!

And Joleen; hope you don't mind, but that very sweet thank you for the tees was passed onto him......... ....anything to help the sponsorship along. :D

:D Sparky, as I've said before, I think I could use some as well. There is a gay owned restaurant and small club here in town, and there is a gay owned gay bar in Poplar Bluff, Mo. I haven't spokent to the owners about it, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind.

great Angelisa!

these are put out by Diversity Pride and they even have details of upcoming events for fall. 8)

Deborah from Diversity Pride is COVERED-UP
getting these out for the weekend to the surrounding area
and that's with an army of folks helping out!

I can pick up as many as you need next week
and snail mail them out in bundles of 50 to
any shop, club or whatever that would like to make them available
or to any individual that would like to distribute them.

In the future the goal is for Diversity Pride to get these guides printed

SOONER and SOONER

and that is not an easy task.
I love the Guide!
It will grow and grow and get better and better !

If anyone has a place that would like to have them let me know .

I will be sure and let Deborah know to include you or them on future distributions.
If you want tp advertise let me know
I will get the info to her as well!
