Aargh! I can't believe it, a virgin?
I did some serious work last night going back through the years, my past, my present-- my journals, my calendars, my old matchbook covers. It sure doesn't look to me like I'm a whatchamacallit-- uh, virgin.
What do you do to beat a bad rap around here, eh?

Thanks for all the welcomes. Now maybe you all can tell me how I get a special name, like one person has "local mayoral candidate," Sparky is something pig dog and wallowy.
Back in the old days, during the second wave of the women's liberation movement, the movement tried to hide Lesbians under the rug. When we didn't hide, Betty Friedan called us the "Lavendar Menace."
How can I get to be the Lavendar Menace?

Yup, the whole story is told in Barbara Love and Sydney Abbot's Sappho Was a Right-On Woman. Big wheeler-dealers hidden somewhere in a backroom discussing how to rid the movement of the Lavendar Menace.
