The Thursday night before DW in my honest humble opinion is my favorite time of the whole weekend

I can't wait!!!

Hmmm note to self, remember that just in case. Delana gets off work at 6:15, we could be there by 9ish...maybe. Probably not gonna make it this time for the first night, besides no reservations anywhere. I may make plans in the Spring. Especially since I'll probably be riding up.

We're ready for DW!!!!

Mel and Denise are right, Thursday night at the Lumber Yard has become the bestest time of the weekend and it HAS turned into a tradition. Last time all of the .........nah........I won't tell!

:D I'm so excited, I am about to pull a Sparky and go all over myself! I sure wish we could start getting up there a day early as well, but with me being teaching, I don't want to put a sub thru 2 days of my class. I think I may have them broke in, but they wouldn't be good for a sub for 2 days, and with Lisa's job, it would be hard to get away. Hope everyone has loads of fun for us all, and will see u on Fri at the Meet and Greet!!
Luv ya,
Angela

Hey Guys, you might be surprised at all the Kansas Citians that now live here in Eureka. I don't say EX-Kansas Citians, because as cities go, K.C. is too dear to the heart to tag with an 'ex'.

Incidentally, I've heard countless times over the years from Eurekans commenting on how friendly the folks from K.C. are that visit our burg. I always puffed up with pride more than a little.

Yup. Chiefs are doing ok. Huard has GOT it GOIN ON! And that Tynes boy ain't too bad either. (sometimes)

As for the Royals (I'm speaking of the baseball team......not them Windsors over England way) ...... my oh my. I don't know that they can get much worse. When Jay Leno starts making jokes about them, you know they're bad.

have you booked the room?

have you checked out the Diversity Guide?

what day and time will you be arriving?

best place to start is the Sherwood meet n greet where you can meet up with the locals and the Veteren Diversity weekenders and see what
every one is doing  this is one of the BEST ways to learn quick 8)

Ant and Sabrina at the Aud is something you won't wanna miss

Bobaloo at the Lumberyard is a MUST!

Giddy? I got my suit and hat in yesterday. We got a cane the day before at the mall and I'm just sitting there going, IS IT TIME YET?

The laundry is contiously being done so we can pack PLENTY of our favorite clothes. (It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact we're celebrating early wearing our Diversity shirts so we have to keep them washed. Delana walked out the door this morning in her Lumberyard shirt)

The suitcase is in the floor waiting to be filled. We're estatic here and can't wait!!!!

I get off work offically at 12:30 pm on Thursday, but Eric can't leave until 12 noon on Friday. He may even have to stay later on Friday at work and if that is the case, I will ride with our friends that our staying with us. So no matter what, I will be there around 4 pm on Friday.

We are staying in the Cobbler's Cottage at the beginning of Main St. We don't plan to get out of the Downtown/Main St. area other then to go to the Smokehouse for Breakfast. It has to be something completely and totally fabulous for us to get in the car.

We will probably hang out at Henri's and the Copa.

I will see every one there!

Yes maam lucky is the word. Full disclosure with both my beloved and her family. I've always been treated well. Her huge heart and compassionate nature make her easy to love. Sometimes we'll go run errands - usually shopping errands - or just visit each other regardless of her daughter's presence.
So M&G is Friday. Durrrr. We talked about a pampering session sometime this weekend time permitting. Maybe Thursday is that night. :D

Hi, all,
My husband and I will be there this weekend. We've got a room at the New Orleans Hotel. Hope it's close to where all the action is. The weather forecast says it should be cool but nice. So what do ya'll recommend for the jumpin'est dance spot Friday night?

I think Tony from Eureka Live said no cover Friday Night and he has a HOT dance floor...FOG and DISCO lights!!! I LOVE THE NIGHT LIFE I LOVE TO BOOGIE.... The Tiki Is a young crowd with a lot of SEXUAL ENERGY Blazing so turn Up the Heat at the Tiki! lots of shirtless men and always a CROWD! Lisa & Mike know how to treat their guests... The Tiki has a midnight DRAG TEASER  on Friday Night (may start around 11)The Lumberyard is a VERY friendly... easy crowd with DJ TIC and Karaoke and Lots of Dancing...try a MONKEY BITE or a TIC...play pool...play hard and have FUN...I forgot there is the Golden Oldies at the smokefree Caribe (you can smoke out on the deck)

I plan to catch Brock Hard at Henrys Friday Night 9-11PM and then on to all three of the above for dancing!

I bet you would have the a great time at Henrys if you have never seen a DRAG KING!

Diversity Weekend are also very popular with the STR*T community...they love
the chance to enjoy and experience the GAY culture in a very safe and friendly environment

had to edit I forgot the golen oldies
