Hi,
I'm pretty excited just now. A friend invited us to a shindig. An annual event, normally it's a formal affair held in a hall. This year the event is on a dude ranch and it's cowboy casual. Each table has 10 seats - wait staff and all that. There's a silent auction and entertainment. Sounds like the place to be! It will be J and myself, my friend , her ex , and 6 strangers, LOL. My friend was once a relative by marriage - Her Ex-hubby is my Ex- brother-in-law.Saturday he'll see/meet Cathy for the first time. Saturday will be the first time he'll hear about me. It may be brazen but recent experience steels my resolve.
The only risk I see would be if he opts to make a scene and outs me to a bunch of drunken, middle class, bigoted, cowboys.
His ex-wife wears his family jewels around her neck nowadays so I doubt he'll cause problems. We'll see.
Film at eleven, news when it happens!

I hope there isn't much of a ceene made, but I know that fear is always there. You coming out as Cathy reminds me a lot of coming out as lesbian. Sometimes you know it's okay to let people know and other times you wonder. Sounds like it will be fun for you though. Take care of yourself and we'll see you soon. (BTW nice bikes.)

That song comes to mind for some reason. You might not want to bring up "Broke Back Mountain." Smile a lot and remember a 357 snub nose fits a purse nicely. Nah, I think you'll do fine. Looking forward to hear how postive experience you will give them. Keep in mind the family jewels.

Joney :D

Ms Joney!
My favorite biker chick - How've you been, lady?
quick answer - neither my inviting party or me could find this Godforsaken place. Later research showed I was CLOSE. Grrrrrr
I was ready to square dance!! ( not really )
So sorry there was no great story to relate.
Ms Joney, I was ( am ) an edged implement enthusist. Rarely am I in public without 2 of them, ( in different locations of course )
