I'm pretty sure for TG's if there is an experience it works in the reverse, but I thought I'd ask. Since doing drag, I haven't really looked at the pics and thought about them till the other day. It was then I realized that when I looked at Lucas, I knew it was me, but I didn't feel like I was looking at me. It was a very weird sensation. I had wondered if that is how it becomes with the old you when transitioning.

LOL, in my case, yes it is unsettling, tho it is part of the correction process.
Physical traits may be unwelcome but are still physical traits you identify with.
I rarely looking into mirrors.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA :D
Gosh, that was a Hoot!
Anyway, there;s less I recognize as my evil twin. If I'm dolled up, sometimes I am surprised by the degree of change.
I know it's me but sometimes doesn;t feel like it.
My Dr. believes I have a prob acknowledging or recognizing changes.
What-ever.
I would LOVE to hear more about how it feels to be a King.
I am fascinated by the subject from your perspective.
(I'd make a Gender Queen joke here but that's too easy )
Thanks for asking, and if you are comfortable - Would you care to elaborate on your perspective and observations as a King?

Always more than happy discussing it. It's interesting from the King perspective especially since I'm not performing a lot. I think that plays a factor in the role that I can't believe it's me. I have noticed though I picked up the ability to see the female face of other kings. I can look at their face and see what they look like. For me, I look at Lucas and can't see my face.
For me Lucas is the ideal of perfection. He's everything I wanted to be. While dressed as Lucas, I do find a confidence that I normally don't find in normal life. The confidence to just let go of it all.
Brock had related to me before I went on stage that there's going to be Jamie and there'll be Lucas. You don't know anything about Lucas until you hit that stage. You don't know what he'll do. You just kinda have to go with it. And Brock was absolutely right. That's a few of my observations thus far.

Dream,
Spotting femme faces in Kings doesn;t surprise me, especially by another King. A common facet of drag is masking existing features or cues.
It will just get easier since you are attuned to it now.
My personae are too dissimilar to coexist without some effort. It is less work to consider them separate and let integration occur gradually.

I look in the mirror and see this hot super-model. I really should take that cover of Voque off my mirror. :D
For many in our world, it is hard to see themselves as someone else. We also grow up using what we see on TV, Movies, and magazines as role models. There was a time I thought I could look like Cindy Crawford. That would be major surgery involving power tools. I would also have to be a few inches taller.
I had to learn to accept myself first. I also could not try to place myself into a mold society and even some of the community told me I should fit in. Beside, how boring would it be if we all did?
