Hi there!
I spent a few days on the bike recently riding 7 from Harrison to Arkadelphia. OoooowEEEE! This girl had fun!
I left Dallas and visited family in Tulsa. Saturday morning was sunny and cool. After taking Pop for a neighborhood cruise, I headed up to Eureka Springs. The streets were full of motorcycles. @ the Rodeway Inn I saw a meeting of Kaw ZRX owners. Old Skool Kawasaki Hooligan bike 8)
The day was flawless. Saturday afternoon saw me headed 62 East towards Harrison and Scenic 7. In ES I only got to see Lee and Kel and of course MMouse. If weather holds, There'll def be more trips up to ES by bike. I wish there'd been more time to connect with people, but I was all antsy to ride and wouldn;t have stayed anywhere long
After a meal in Jasper - and a chat with a Handsome Deputy Sheriff who rides, it was time for a hotel in Jasper. No luck.
The next town on 7 is Russelville, and it was a quarter to 8 when I left. Despite my best efforts, 45 miles of Scenic 7 were travelled by moonlight. The landscape was almost surreal. Starlight like I've not seen in years jumped out at me. I pulled over and shut down for a minute to soak up the stillness. Betime I hit Russelville I was cold and tired, and my tail hurt from so much saddle time.
Sunday I continued 7 down through Hot Springs. That's on my list of towns to stroll around and photograph. Beautiful, and full of character. Finally @ Arkadelphia my big girl ( Motorcycle ) and I hopped on highway 30W and beat feet for Dallas.
No real magic on this trip. Unfamiliar roads, oncoming traffic and such kept me keyed up.
Hope I see you on the road sometime. I am on a dark silver over navy Sporttouring bike. Black or silver/black helmets, Grey armored mesh jacket. Give me a honk~

lol Cathy you hit a lot of my and Delana's stomping ground then. We travel 23 to get to ES, but Russellville is where I graduated college from last weekend. It's where Delana graduated high school. Our "hometown" is about 35-40 minute ride on 65 east. Quaint little place called Morrilton. I know you must've had a great ride.

I just had a short ride around Morrilton this past Friday when we were in for Delana's neice's graduation. Unfortunately with the road work here and no trailer to haul the bike back and forth right now, it's parked back in Morrilton where I'll get it as soon as we get a trailer and a proper vehicle to haul it.

Hi Dream,
What's another good road in that area to ride?
I am planning an early Fall trip through Okla, into Ark.
The route's not set yet, but It would be nnice to try some different roads.
I already know what a great ride 7 is. Time for some more scenery and twisties to tempt me - 8)
