Well it was a pretty good day for a ride Saturday. A little warm but light traffic and lots of bikes out. Nursing a lo-battery I spent about 70 miles @ highway speeds. I traveled 67N to towards Midlothian, then veered off to see Venus. Back on to 287S to Waxahachie. Turned tail and went 287N to 67S, and enjoyed the scenery. Saw Cedar Hill, exited 1382, went through Cedar Hill ( 35 MPH, don;t you know ) - down Lakeridge Parkway, crossing Joe Pool Lake and back to my hovel.
Of course, the battery was still almost dead. As we speak it sits forlornly on a charger, steadfastly refusing to fully charge.
the highway pegs I installed were still too loose, despite tightening them mightily.
they are the cheap type that clamp onto a bar. I remain undeterred. :)
So did anyone else ride this weekend?
