Passing along a thank you from the McGehees
<HR style="COLOR: #cccccc" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I'm passing along this thank-you (listed below) from the McGehee family, who lost everything in a fire just a few weeks ago. An account at the Bank of Eureka Springs is currently being set up for them, and a fundraiser is planned on Sat., May 17, at Pine Mountain Jamboree. I'll have more details by tomorrow on both of those, and will pass them along.
We would like to thank all the people who have been so generous with their time and donations after our home was destroyed by fire. Thanks especially to Pine Lodge, Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, Dr. Bell, the teachers and staff of Eureka Springs Middle School, Church of God (Holiness), Eastside Church of Christ, First Christian Church, Diversity Weekend participants, Bank of Eureka Springs, Mike Bishop and the Pine Mountain Jamboree, the Scotties Booster Club, Billy Hull, and so many other friends, family, individuals and businesses; we apologize if we’ve forgotten anyone. Each act of kindness has been truly appreciated by our family. Thanks to the Eureka Springs Fire Department who worked so hard to try and save our home, and thanks also for those who prayed for Darrell during his hospital stay, and for his recovery. If there is a silver lining to this dark cloud, it’s the goodness we’ve felt from so many hearts.
