View Full Version : Thinking about moving to the area
Hi,
My partner and I are considering moving to the Eureka Springs area. We may end up in Berryville due to the job situation. I know Eureka Springs is very gay friendly, but does anyone know about Berryville? I figure just about any place has to be better than Mississippi.
We also have web based jobs, so what about broadband internet? Is it only available right in town, or is there something else available like wireless?
Thanks,
DJ

Berryville is not gay friendly. As you travel from Eureka East on 62, just about the time you cross the Kings river you can feel the mentality change from progressive liberal too tight assed, closed minded, conservative religious nuts. I would say that no Berryville is not gay friendly, but rent is much more affordable. I reccomend finding something on the outskirts of Eureka to stay in the general area for the friendly atmosphere. WIFI is a possibility in certin places. COX Cable and DSL are other options in places as well.

Gay Friendy....VERY! May is a great month to explore and check OUT Eureka. The May Arts Fest is one of my favorite fests and it lasts all month.
Thanks for the replies. I emailed Penne to see if anything is available. We love Eureka Springs, but rent is a major factor since we don't make much money. We just need to feel safe.
