Robbie Walker RIP

Everyone,

I know Robbie Walker is a favorite of Diversity Weekend. I just found out the he has passed away. I was on cariefairfeild and there was a few post out there about it. I wanted to let everyone know and we can all send her partner Keny our prayers at this time.

If anyone hears anything else or if I do I will let eveyone know.

There will be a memorial for Robbie at Robbie's mother's house this Saturday at 2:00pm. I don't know where his mother lives, but I'm sure if you email Kenny at: kennybales@aol.com he will be able to let you know the details.

He is in our thoughts and Prayers and I am soo glad I goto to know him.

What a sad thing to wake up to this morning.

I am so saddened by this. Robbie was such a class act both on and off the stage. Both she and Kenny were so devoted to promoting diversity and their work in pageants. I feel so honored to have gotten to be a judge in one of their pageants two years ago.

She truly loved Eureka Springs and her fans. DW just won't be the same without her.

Does anyone know how to contact Lita? I have an old number for her but not sure how good it is. She definitely needs to be told about this.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I didn;t know Robbie personally, but saw performances that raised the bar for every one of her peers.
I should thank Ray for turning me on to Robbie.

I saw Lita the other night and will have called and let her know. We can look at this in one way; He is no longer suffering with the pain. RIP.

RIP, he was a inspiration to a lot of generations of kings and queens. His act did raise the bar for so many. He made you want to be better, to be the best you could be.

Robbie will be missed by people far and wide. Not only was Robbie one heck of a performer ,Robbie was and always will be our friend. It was hard for me to concentrate today, but as Robbie would want, when we all meet again have a cocktail in his memory.

The last time I talked to Robby (actual spelling, Robbie was the stage spelling) he was all pissed off because he couldn't find any Egyptian style bedroom furniture so we were on the search. Today I found the perfect curtain and was going to send it to him. Robby lived this life to the fullest until it became too tough for him. A month or so ago he got to go on a wonderful vacation to Branson. He was so excited.

I would love to do a show in memory of Robbie Walker. If we can get enough people to do a number or two and all the money raised could go to Kenny and/or the American Cancer Society in Robbie's name. It is just an Ideal and if anyone wants to do this, maybe we can do it durning fall diversity weekend in Eureka, Springs. Sparky maybe you could let me know who I need to contact to maybe get this started. I will be attending Fall Diversity weekend. Cant wait to come back to my favorite place on earth.

Eureka Live has projector but they are booked for fall with the en-fem crowd....MEBBEEE a Saturday afternoon show????? OR a Sunday gig????

Lumberyard is closed and for sale...unless someone buys the club it will be closed for fall.

Jack's Places has Ashley McBride booked in the evening. Afternoon is a option...must use Lynn's Place across the alley to change in and the stage is to small, must use teeny dance floor, lighting not the best...

Tiki Torch does their own thing....now if you want to bring Mike and Lisa a SHOW like no other...I will PM you Lisa's phone number. The Tiki works their drag queens to death... A Friday Night midnight teaser, a Saturday afternoon show and a encore Saturday night. The Tiki Show gulrs maje around a grand each in tips.

Anybody else have any ideas????? I will check around next week when I go to Eureka and travel with Eureka Springs Limo to Tulsa for their pride parade
