As many of you know, May the 10th was a day of hell for many people. I was out of state when the storms hit. I have family in Picher Oklahoma where a F-4 hit. Yes my family was in the tornado, but lucky they out of five different family members, 3 of them lost their homes. I mean gone nothing left of them. But none of them hurt. Then the storms traveled to just south of where I have my home, the storm hit with a F-3 and became an F-4 as it crossed stateline. The path of the storm was unreal. Just out side of Granby, MO. My best friend and her husband was hit head on by the F-3. Lucky for them they had gone to take shelter elsewhere. Their house was gone.
If anyone has anymore news on this storm that played heck through NE Oklahoma and SW Missouri, please share your story. Thank goodness for the men and women that worked day and night to find all the missing people. I am sorry for the loss for some. But I am thankfull for the ones that made it too.

OH MY! and I have been thinking about you and wondering how you was doing. Don't stay away so long next time. Roger was in the hospital for Mothers Day and his nurse was from Morrilton, she was unable to return home to even see if she still had a home.

Handed out blinkie eye glasses to his nurse and technicians, not one was a mother.

Living a mile outside city limits of Morrilton, I can tell you that we've been missed by tornadoes all year long by just a few miles. There's been so much damage and devastation in the upper part of the county that it is unreal. One of the cart pushers at work lost his home in this last tornado. My family has been lucky to avoid it thus far, but there's been a few times that it was really close.

Great home to weather a storm like this.

Sorry to hear of your family situation, Mother nature can play hell with our lives in a blink of an eye.

Thank you Sparky,
I am glad to say, I am back. My eyes are still a bit off line, but the soul wont go down without a fight. Things are rough right now with me not working, but that will soon change. I am heading out Tues to look for work again. Happy weekend everyone and stay safe.
By the way Sparky, I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.

Glad to know that everyone has survived. Possessions can be replaced, but lost loved ones cannot.
