Millions Will Celebrate Independence Day in Eureka by waving rainbow flags and wearing lavish Carnival costume as they dance and cheer their way down historic Springs Street in the South's most homosexual city on SATURDAY, July 5th at 1:30 PM.

Gay men, lesbians and cross-dressers are welcome to join in and parade down the Swish Alps to Basin Park, the heart of this Victorian Burg.

Organizers expect more than three million people at this annual Independence Day & Pride Parade, which traditionally is one of the biggest in the South.

Local authorities did not immediately give an estimate on the number of people likely to attend this years event, but said millions are anticipated.

The parade kicks off a full Weekend of FUN

The BEST place to watch this years PARADE will be from Basin Park. The PRIDE OF EUREKAS FREEDOM FLOAT will be stopping at the park. I was told that the float has a SURPRISE transformation, production upon arriving to at the park.
