Good morning,
It's not Friday -
but it's My Friday, and as my exes used to say
"It's alll about you isn;t it"..HA -.. We're going to do a road trip into God's country for a couple days. Arbuckle Wilderness safari, Turner Falls, and a day or so in Guthrie Ok. Very interesting town. Largest historical district in the US, boasting 2100 plus structures in 400 city blocks. Can;t wait!!
So, what do you have planned for the 4th??

Hey Cathy! Why shouldn't it be all about you? And ME. Tonight I am spinnin' the hits at Jack's Place and slingin' cards on Fri and Sat, but hope to get to stick my head out and check out the parade! Should be the best one ever:cool:
Guthrie is a sleepy little town. You should see it during the Christmas holiday, they really light it up and make is beautiful.

With the fourth looming tommorow, the retail industry doesn't take breaks, so tomorrow at 11 am I report for produce duty. Good news is I'm off work at 8 pm and the festivities begin. We know of at least 8 people coming over to party with us and hopefully more will show. Fireworks, the grill, the pool, and of course no-no drinks will be attending.

I'm HOME! I have not been home for a weekend since May. We left at 5AM Eastern and I will sleep in my very own feather topped king size Egyptian cotton sheeted bed tonight...or meebee sooner. No place like home. That reminds me...any Dorothys coming to Summer Diversity to win the prize?

Hi Jen,
Guthrie was a pretty little sleepy town, just like you said. I had a Jack and Coke in the Bluebell saloon, Where Tom Mix honed bartending skills. Though OK is my home state, No time had been spent in OKC, which is sort of the hub for Guthrie El Reno, and Edmond.
El Reno was pretty cool too. I can imagine - hope to see personally - what that area looks like in the winter.
