Well I have my fifth laser treatment today. Again, she used a more intense laser to not only get little remain black hair, but reduce whatever white hair I had, which has been reduced. Little pain, but the sudden flash and the smell shocks you.
I also had my second under arm treatment. Hardly felt it. Most of the hair is gone, just after the second treatment. I was told this due to the hair being lighter.
I am really pleased with the results.

does that leave a "little sun burn" mark and does it feel like a sun burn afterwards? I have a lady friend who told me that when she was younger she would tweeze under her arms and she is very pleased with those results as she is now hairless under her arms. Would that have been an option?? tweezing that is.
How many more treatments do you have to go thru?

Joney,
Congratulations! So how does your skin feel?
Hi Doc,
If I can contribute - my skin looked/felt like a sunburn, not just red spots.
Refrigerated clear aloe gel helped the sunburned feeling and redness for me.
According to my electrologist and before her - my laser tech - tweezing works but has it's own issues, the biggest being IMO you have to keep at it for a long time. Tweezing can remove a portion of the follicle, damaging or splitting it. Sometimes you'll tweeze 1 hair, and 2 gnarly ones will grow back out of the same hole.

Hi Doc and Cathy:
First, the skin feels great. Yes it does feel like a slight sunbrun afterwards. The more intense laser is also clearing up blemishes in my skin. Ever try to tweeze in some areas. One it will take forever and you don't get the results.
Going without foundation makeup is great too.
